Healthy Food

For after school we provide a healthy snack (e.g. cheese and crackers, beans on toast, waffles, cereals, wraps), including fresh fruit and vegetables. The afternoon snack we provide at the Club is not intended as a substitute for the main evening meal. We recommend for those children who are particularly hungry at pick up, that parents or carers place a favourite snack in their book bags, so they are able to have something to eat immediately when they finish school. We will also meet individual dietary requirements including parental preferences, food allergies and intolerances wherever possible.

Wise Owls promotes children’s development and learning out of school. Children will have the opportunity to take part in themed educational activities and structured arts and crafts sessions. We endeavor to make each session as exciting and interesting as possible, focusing on different themes every week.

Free play: construction, Lego, dressing up, role play, puzzles, games, cars, table tennis, pool table, footballs and den building.
